These were designated “No. 4 MK. I (T. LESS TELESCOPE)” as they never had scopes mated to the rifles, and this designation was stencilled on the front of their No. 15 Mk. I wooden chests and held in War Reserve Stores, probably at Weedon or Donnington. Most surviving examples of these rifles have the 'TR & S51' marks and cheek rests, but do not have the T on the side of the asction or telecscope serial number on the wrist of the butt.

A sniper variation of the Lee Enfield No 4 Rifle was used in World War Two, that used the No. Nov 16, 2013 Following my local gun show today, I am now a proud owner of a gorgeous No.4 Mk.1 rifle. I am, however, having a bit of trouble working out the rifle's history. The rifle only has 4 digits in the serial number, and a PF prefix. The receiver markings have been painted-over at some point, and are difficult to read. They appear to say No.4 Mk.1 (F). Lee-Enfield rifle 303 No.4 Mark 1. Type: British infantry rifle. History: The well-known Lee-Enfield rifle began its service with the British Army in 1895 and ran into some 27 different models before being replaced by a self-loader in 1957.
This is a great example of a T. Less Telsecope, matching numbers throughout, most of the Holland & Holland Brunofix surface finish is still intact.
The No15 MkI Transit chest is original the to the rifle and still has the original matching serial number labels.
The butt has the the S51 Holland & Holland Inspectors mark, but no telescope serial number on the top of the wrist.
Its very rare to see a BSA example as they are nearly always Savage examples

Description:
SN M37059 is a BSA Shirley 1944 dated 303 No. 4T Sniper rifle. This rifle remains in 'out of the war reserves' excellent plus to near new condition with all matching serial numbers, and M47 C markings . This rifle was never set up for its' scope . The wood shows all of it's original factory finish. The butt grip shows no evidence of scope number. The bore rates as new. The bolt shows a 0 head and very little indication of issue or usage. All wood markings are clear and crisp with no wear markings. This rifle came to us together with a 1945 dated No 32 MKIII scope SN 28405. The optics are bright and crystal clear. The scope was built by A. Kershaw and Son. The mounting bracket show No. X 31677. The scope remains in excellent plus condition and comes with its' original matching MK 2 canvas case, serial numbered to the scope, The case remains in excellent condition. Despite not having a matching scope this Sniper is an exceptional example of a late WW2 No 4 T rifle. A piece for the Sniper or Lee Enfield Collector.

A bold exercise in atmosphere and emotion, the album was woven together with some of the most breathtaking, impassioned music that Neil has created. Originally inspired by Arthur C Clarke's 1956 sci-fi book 'The City and the Stars' the album was recorded at Cooper Hall, a studio and cinema set deep in the Somerset countryside with Stanley Kubrick's '2001 A Space Odyssey' running on permanent rotation. The sci-fi aesthetic is firmly grasped by the four remixers, echoing the theme in their own reinterpretations. The reimagined tracks retain the inventiveness of the originals while exploring progressive but considerate paths. In his version of 'Weightless', Erased Tapes signed Rival Consoles feeds off of the electronic songwriter's critically lauded humanised techno, while rising German musician Christian Löffler brings new dimensions of space and scale to 'Death To Amygdala'. For some of my friends it’s hard to believe it, but I do love working in customer support. There’s a certain kind of joy that comes from helping people, that can hardly be felt if you’re just interacting with machines all day. However, for every 50 customers who are all happy and grateful, there’s always one or two who sound upset, angry, demanding, frustrated, or all of above.
This one angry customer usually had the most impact on my mood, no matter how many friendly and pleasant interactions I’ve had before that day. When I was quite stressed on my own due to external circumstances, one APPALLED person shouting in ALL CAPS could easily leave me helpless. It’s changed a lot in the last few weeks, all due to one book recommended by a colleague – The Customer Service Survival Kit by Richard S. Callagher.
The guidelines covered there is collected from training materials for policemen, hostage negotiators, crisis counselors, or marriage therapists, backed up by psychological research and wrapped up together with a nice dose of humor. Some of the tips sound very counterintuitive at first, but they all work amazingly well since the first time I dared to apply them. I no longer freak out when dealing with angry customers, cause now I have some perfect guidelines to follow. Here is a couple of them:

So, long story short, there is NOTHING really wrong with Win98, the problem is that VirtualBox's emulated BIOS doesn't fully match up with what Win98 expects a real ACPI BIOS to look like, so by default Win98 will not install ACPI support (and unfortunately, the older APM support doesn't handle CPU IDLE, so we get problems). The solution is to FORCE ACPI support to be installed, by using the /p j command line switch when running the setup program that installs Win98. This means that you can't just jam the virtual CD into the virtual CD drive and let 'autorun' take care of everything. The best way to handle this is to simply move the Win98 install folder from the Windows 98 SE CD onto your virtual C: drive in VirtualBox, then change directory to that folder in a DOS prompt and run the setup program manually: setup /p j This will force ACPI power management (and the associated CPU IDLE functions) to be installed, and your Win98 virtual machine will consume no more system resources when running than a similar XP or Linux virtual machine. 2. If you installed the SCT device updater before you plugged the device in then this should be easy to fix.
With your device connected:
Open your computers Device Manager.
Look for a device that is not installed like one with a yellow exclamation mark. (Here is a screenshot of what you are looking for.)
If you see this, right click it and select update driver.
A new window should open up and give you the option to either automatically search, or browse for files.
Click browse for files
Navigate to the folder you downloaded, and select “Open”.
If you did this correctly, it’ll tell you your drivers have successfully been updated and once you click “OK” you should see something similar to the picture below.
Now your communication should work between the device and the computer. With most devices, you will want to unplug it and plug it back in and restart the device updater. Then click “Display Device Settings and Serial” and if the serial number shows up, it is communicating.

Basic Steps to Update a GT Tuner
1. Run the Update Agent.
2. Connect the Micro SD card to your computer.
3. Choose the vehicle application and let the Agent search.
4. Click the Update button.
5. When the Update is finished, put the Micro SD card in the GT.
6. Update the GT Platinum from the SD card by choosing Update GT Software, or Update GT Firmware on the Main Menu. (option will be all the way at the bottom of the main menu.)

To install the Bully Dog Light Duty Update Agent please open the following link. Then open and run the file.
Open the update agent. Note: the tune will need to be uninstalled from your vehicle to update. You can check the vehicle is stock by going to show settings, the status will read “installed” or “not installed”
Connect the SD with either the card reader or the GT itself and the USB cable
Highlight the card in the update agent, and select “select device”
4. Select your device (40417, 40420, etc.) then select “download and upgrade”
5. Wait for the download to finish, you will see this message.

Although Windows 98 has been out of general circulation for well over a decade now, it might come as a surprise to some people that it’s still actively in use, especially in a business or specialized environment for running old software. There is actually a third party Service Pack for Windows 98 Second Edition which is still being updated well into 2013, even though Microsoft ended their support for Windows 98 on the 11th of July 2006! Obviously, hardware support from all major manufacturers has ended years ago so if you or your company still run Windows 98 in some capacity, it’s incredibly difficult to find compatible hardware and software for it.

The problem is, due to some obsolete software that needs to run on Windows 98, the computer cannot be upgraded to newer versions of Windows such as 8, 7, Vista or even Windows XP. I’ve tried compatibility mode on Windows XP and it doesn’t work either, so it’s either upgrade the software or continue using Windows 98. Updating the old software is very expensive, so the decision was to stay with Windows 98 and try to source parts that can support this ageing operating system.
The immediate problem was getting the flash drive to work. Windows 98SE is actually not too bad at handling mass storage drivers for a USB storage device IF you have a driver disc that accompanied it or a download is available. 98SE doesn’t come with a generic mass storage driver that would install support for all standard USB storage devices like newer Windows versions, so not every device you insert will simply get recognised. Predictably, Kingston offers no support for their devices in Windows 98 so no driver can be installed to pick up the flash drive.
After much searching and testing, I finally managed to install the Kingston DataTraveler on Windows 98. This following method which I’m about to show you can work for most USB mass storage devices if your Windows 98 has detection problems. What I found was a generic Windows 98SE USB mass storage device driver that will work with many makes and models of the following:
– USB Flash Drives – Digital Photo and Video Cameras (that connect to the PC via USB) – USB Hard Drives – MP3 Players (including Apple iPod from v2.4) – Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Phoenix usb devices driver download for windows 10.
This driver isn’t guaranteed to work with all devices because it’s a generic driver, and you shouldn’t install it if you have no issues in the first place. It does though work well for the purpose it was intended for, it did for me and has for many other people.
Installing the generic USB Mass Storage driver
